Abstract

Allied Health Sciences have emerged as an indispensable pillar of modern healthcare, contributing substantially to disease prevention, early diagnosis, clinical management, rehabilitation, and the promotion of health and well-being. As healthcare systems continue to evolve in response to changing disease patterns, technological advancements, and increasingly complex patient needs, the importance of evidence-based practice and high-quality clinical research has never been greater. The launch of the CMH Journal of Allied Health Sciences represents a meaningful step towards strengthening scholarly communication, encouraging scientific inquiry, and advancing the contribution of allied health professionals to contemporary healthcare. The establishment of a dedicated scholarly platform reflects a broader commitment to knowledge generation, professional excellence, and the continuous improvement of healthcare services. A scientific journal is not merely a repository of published manuscripts; it is a forum for intellectual exchange, critical appraisal, constructive debate, and the dissemination of evidence that can inform clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes. Through this initiative, we aspire to nurture a research culture in which scientific curiosity is encouraged, methodological rigour is valued, and discoveries are translated into meaningful clinical and societal benefits.
